The staff was amazing--really friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a perfect location--you're right in the heart of where you want to be. I walked from my hotel everywhere. I explored Le Marais (rad neighborhood and where I'd stay again). I walked to the latin quarter and St. Germain (way busier, way more cars, way more tourists.. still beautiful but I'd rather stay elsewhere). You're a couple of blocks from the Seine and I'd get up in the morning and run to the Eiffel Tower. It's about 4 miles one way but a really nice way to start your morning. You're right next to the Place des Vosges, which is a really beautiful park where I hung out and read my book. No tourists there really. And your about one block away from Chez Janou, which is an amazing and highly hyped (and worth it) French cafe (make reservations, which you can do by just stopping by earlier in the day). My room was small, but I was traveling alone so it was no big deal and I was more than happy with it. The room was on the top floor and had French doors that opened out into the city with a little balcony which was really, really pleasant. I think when I booked the room it was about $175 a night, and that felt like a good price for what you got. I'd stay here again, absolutely. The breakfast is 14 Euros.. which isn't bad considering what things cost in Paris and you can eat until you're stuffed. It's a standard European continental breakfast.. hardboiled eggs, deli meat, cheeses, muesli, yogurt, etc. but it was good. The dining room is in the basement and it's really cool. All timbered and with stone arches and the old well from.. however long ago. It's an old building. I'd fill up on food and coffee and then wander around the city. Because I'm a typical American, Nespresso shots don't really do it for me so I'd inevitably end up at a bakery shortly thereafter to grab a croissant and an americano.

From the moment that my son and I arrived at Les Tournelles we felt we’d hit the jack pot with our hotel choice. Anwar gave us a warm, wonderful and efficient welcome and we were able to refresh ourselves after our travels in the beautiful guest lounge, with lovely cold water (with orange slices), tea/coffee also available. Over our busy 3 day stay in Paris, the hotel became a highlight to return to after our sightseeing. It felt calm and comfortable. We loved the bedroom decor and the beds were supremely comfy. We slept so well! We enjoyed breakfast in the atmospheric breakfast room, which really revealed the history of the hotel building. Anwar was really exceptional in helping us to plan metro stops for various sights we wanted to visit in Paris. He is such an asset to the hotel. Plus I have to mention the location, for us it was absolutely perfect to be in the heart of Le Marais. Just around the corner from beautiful Place des Vosges, which is wonderful to visit at all times of the day and simply sit and take it all in. There is fantastic shopping in the area; not to mention incredible museums, great restaurants and it’s just a very nice area of Paris to explore and also not far to walk from Ile Saint-Louis/Norte Dame. As you can tell, we highly rate this hotel and would definitely recommend it and we really look forward to going back to stay at Les Tournelles and exploring the area further.

I absolutely loved everything of this hotel! It’s rated as a 3 stars hotel, but I definitely think it deserves a 4 stara rating! Both the men we met at the reception during our stay were incredibly kind, friendly, professional and welcoming. The hotel is in the heart of le Marais, close to place des Vosges and to Musée Picasso, place de la Bastille and canal Saint-Martin; but it’s also a few minute walk away from Pompidou, hotel de Ville, Notre Dame and Saint Germain. I had never stayed in this area before, but I must admit it’s a very cosy, posh, cool and tactical one! Hotel rooms in Paris are tiny, not as wide and spacious as the ones we are used to in Italy: nevertheless, our room was very well organized and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay! Bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable! I have traveled to Paris several times and also lived there twice in 2015 and 2017, but I have never stayed in a hotel/apartment as clean as this hotel is. It was impeccable! At our arrival we found a cotton shopping bag on the bed alongside with some customized biscuits au beurre, a very needed bottle of water and some amazing beauty products by Nuxe! I felt so spoiled! Wifi works 100% very well! Definitely coming back! ❤️

Wonderful Hotel in a wonderful location. We were a party of 4 staying in 2 rooms. Leaving the key every time we left was definitely NOT a problem nor did we feel it was an inconvenience to the staff (as a previous reviewer wrote). The 24hour/per day staffing by the gentlemen hosts in the front room is an amazing element of Les Tournelles. The timing of our stay allowed us to get to know Carlos the best. Carlos always made us feel welcome as he answered our questions and provided guidance about many aspects of the local neighbourhood, restaurant recommendations, etc. The cozy lounge where we could have some down time and a glass of wine in the early evening after a long day of walking and before going out for dinner was a lovely amenity. The ladies in the breakfast room were always friendly & accommodating with morning coffee. The cleaning staff did a wonderful job every day in freshening our rooms and keeping the entire hotel sparkling and inviting. We WILL return to Les Marais and Les Tournelles very soon.

Beautiful, every detail was well done, comfortable, the sitting room on the ground floor was gorgeous and comfortable and we loved relaxing with a complementary beverage and snack every afternoon, the breakfast room in the historic lower level was atmospheric and lovely. The staff were extremely helpful, kind, really top notch. Loved it, after staying in at least eight Paris hotels over the years, I wouldn’t stay elsewhere.
